Meet the Trustees

Patron

The Rt Revd James Langstaff

Bishop of Rochester and Bishop to Prisons

The Rt Rev. the Lord Bishop of Rochester, James Langstaff, is Clean Sheet’s Patron. Since the end of 2013 he has been the Bishop to Prisons, a role which involves engaging on behalf of the national church with a range of issues concerning criminal justice and penal affairs. He has a particular interest in urban regeneration initiatives and social and affordable housing. Bishop James is Chair of Housing Justice, the national voice of the churches on housing and homelessness.

Chair of Trustees

Robin Gwynn

Robin has been running his own business since 2014 with his wife Diana, after 25 years in the British Diplomatic Service – much of it living in and working with Africa. He is also a trustee of two charities linked to the Newfrontiers network of churches in the UK and worldwide. Robin believes that some of the most transformational life stories can happen in the criminal justice sector, and that it is a privilege to have the opportunity to contribute to that through the work of Clean Sheet.

Board of Trustees

Cary Ralph

Cary has many years’ experience of being a charity Trustee and is currently the Chair of Trustees of the Union of British Messianic Synagogues.

Malcolm Soden

Malcolm joined the Clean Sheet trustees in April 2016 to oversee all aspects of the charity’s accounting and finance. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and his day job is Finance Director for a luxury hotel company with ten properties in London and New York.

Catherine De Souza

Catherine brings 13 years of experience in the charity sector to the Clean Sheet board, most significantly from leadership roles with organisations working nationally and globally with those in prison and those who’ve been in prison. She is a church leader and is passionate about people fulfilling their God-given potential.
