‘The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners’
Partnering with Clean Sheet is a great way to engage in social action that is transforming the lives of people with convictions.
We would love to support your ministry to prisoners and ex-offenders, either inside a prison near you, or in your own community Job Club.
As a Clean Sheet Church Partner, your church will be fully supported with initial and ongoing training.
Our Patron Bishop James, The Bishop for Prisons, said, ” Clean Sheet is a wonderful social action project enabling church volunteers to be instrumental in helping prisoners and ex-offenders to find jobs.”

Agreements and Costs
Our Church Partners generally agree to serve in their nominated prison for a rolling two year period, subject to the prison continuing their regime, changes in legislation and personnel movement.
From our Church Partners, we normally request a one-off registration fee of £375.00.
NB This is only for Churches with a team of Clean Sheet Prison Volunteers.
This fee will cover our set-up costs, including meetings, training, initial and ongoing, prison negotiations, administration and visits. After one year, we will generally request an annual renewal fee of £197.00.
From Prison to Employment
Ways to Work
Offered in some prisons before release, this interactive session recognises achievement, encourages aspiration and ignites hope for a different and better future.
The Clean Sheet Membership Module is a multiple-choice quiz to find out whether you’re ready for work. It covers day-to-day working life, what an employer expects and what an employee can offer.
Clean Sheet Employers will actively consider Clean Sheet Members for work, training or even volunteering, within normal legal & licence restrictions
